I haven't had the car on my driveway yet, and when I showed some friends pictures of the ongoing respray one went "Oh my, that's my dream car, a Ford Mustang"...

My car was mistaken for a Mustang the day I picked it up at the dealership. The salesman and I drove to a gas station to fill it up just prior to me taking deilvery. In front of us at the pumps was a nice looking woman putting gas in her Mercedes Convertible. She asked me, "is that the new Mustang"? I corrected her that it was the new Camaro! I forgave her though, as she looked so good! Wish I was alone without the salesman and maybe we could have had a longer conversation and...who knows?
Another woman who saw the car in pictures on facebook commented how she liked my Mustang! Oh well!!

people just don't know cars anymore.i used to look at a piece of chrome and could tell you what car it came off.

When I was a kid my buddy and I used to sit on the driveway memorizing the looks of the rear and front ends of all the cars in the Chilton's Manuals. I wasn't a true car kid but at least I knew what make, model and year a car was when I saw it.
