I guess they took advantage of the fact that it was late at night and hardly no one was at the rest stop. Lucky for me there doesn't seem to be any damage except to my front bumper which had a crack up the whole front like tha Grand Canyon and the driver side front quarter panel had a wrinkle in it from the bumper being pushed back. I guess there is a bright side to this.....I was gonna get my front end repainted and have a protective cover installed anyways due to some rock chips in the paint....now I get a whole new front end .....so I'm down but not out!

Been there done tht, so I know exactly how u feel! Guess we both have been ''SMASHED BY THE HOMIE''! I can just see em now; Hey look whats parked over there, a new camaro then in his uninsured POS  he says " lets get a closer look" then BAM! Oh sh¡T I cnt afford to fix tht lets get the hell out of here!

Rest stops are very dangerous. When traveling, I never leave my car unattended at a rest stop. My "travel partner" and I each stay with the car while the other takes care of business in the can. Besides hit and run, car windows are popped in seconds and stuff gets stolen.

At least the paint match on the bumper skin cannot possibly be off more than what (still) comes from the factory.
