RUN! That number is high. I would only give them that if that number was out the door tax included and the extended warranty was thrown in. THEN you have a deal.

Good luck either way, it's a good looking car.

It only has 15,000 miles. I assume it was bought in mid 09. Is that a fair deal? It is the exact color and options I want with the exception of a sunroof, however I am very interested in the T-top kit, the problem with that is that I dont know of anywhere around here that can install it.

I found an intake I wanted a while back, but now I can not find it again. It was the only one I came across that mounted the filter in the center of the grill behind the scoop, rather than off to the sides.

After that I would like to do my exhaust, But I am not sure if I want to to header-back, cat-back, or just an axleback system. I would love to put on quad tips and have the skill and tools to do it, I just need to know what size and if it is doable with the ground effects.

Thank you in advance, I look forward to hearing from you.
Firstly, the intake you're looking for is a vraram or a New Era.

Secondly, in regards to the exhaust/muffler, make sure you buy a set that is SPECIFICALLY FOR THE GFX. Go on websites such as Maryland Speed, Apex Motorsports, Juiced Motorsports, etc. to find and compare prices. If you like a specific exhaust but it does not have quad tips, call the company and see if they can make them. I know stainless retro is a GREAT axleback system with quad tips. Whether they make a GFX package or not, I don't know.

Thirdly, $31,500 is TOO MUCH. Might as well buy the same car but new 2011 for ~$34-36k.

You can buy a new 1SS for that.
The dealer usually has $5,000 of wiggle room for an asking price of $33,000.
Get down to $29k or walk away.

that number isnt high, its what we call a rip off.
You can buy a new SS for a few grand more. I wouldnt pay more then 28 or 29k for that. And just an FYI, between last year and this year, the depreciation of 2010s have dramatically increased. Its pretty odd. I bought my 2LT/RS for 37500 in 09. Last year, used ones were going for about 33k with 15000km. This year theyre down to 25k with 20000km
Pretty big difference from last year

That would be out the door. No sales tax in NH as said. The car books for just over 35,000. I know nobody pays book value. I was a salesman as a chevy dealer in the area and was told by them that invoice on a new one with the same options would be about 37,500. Id like the think they wouldnt lie, but I could be wrong. As for saving a few grand, that is what I am looking for, what I save is going into my house. I will definitely check the carfax and haggle some more on price. I tried to give them a reasonable offer and walk in with my check and walk out with my car. Maybe the person who traded it in negotiated a bit and they dont own it for much less than 31,000.Who knows. I know alot of times they can go lower on sales price if they get the trade cheap, but I have no trade in this case I am just buying my fun car and keeping my gas sipper (2010 corolla)
