The only car that I know of that was not imported to America and had rear fogs was the 2nd Gen Oldsmobile Aurora from 01 until the end of production.

No. This is more than just turn signal coloration.

Yes. It's for the turn indicator.
For the SAE, the color could be red or amber but for the ECE, it muste be amber.

Export models probably have additional wires in the harness for the multcolor lenses.

Seems like the best solution short of putting another set of holes on the back. Doubt that will happen. Since the multicolor pod is just a screw on. Quick and EZ if your wires to the computer are there.
