J2010 , Just a FYI...My order was originally suppose to be pulled next week 4/1. when I got the call last night i was suprised. I also ask the dealer why was my car pulled a week early and what happened to the order that was suppose to be pulled this week...They said it was pulled last week 3/19, so either your car was pulled last week and the dealer hasn't told you yet???? or if I stay with my order of CGM I will let you know, so you can call the dealer and request that your car is put in place of mine so your order can be pulled this week. I will keep you informed.. hope it does if I keep m original color order. Still undecided......

My opinion.......this is a purchase you have to live with, don't be in such a freakin' hurry. When you look back a year from now, you will not remember the difference of a month or so, but you WILL ALWAYS remember the color you picked. I personally think that the Light Silver is the best for this car, it looks more expensive, you will never see swirl marks, and the body lines pop......but to each his own. PS- I would never own a black car again.......too hot in summer, too dirty in winter, swirl marks are a near guarantee ,even dust shows, people have a hard time seeing you, and the worst part is you cannot even see the body lines!! Just my 2 cents

[/QUOTEI agree silver looks good. That was my first choice then I changed to CGM. The problem is all the pics of CGM I think does look like the vette CGM? Still have a few hours to decide. I'm gonna run by my dealer after work to look @ the CGM again before I decide. Thanks for all options and suggestions |

Wait for CGM. Wait for what you want. You've waited this long. Why settle now.
PLUS....maybe then mine will get built sooner!! LOL |

If you really want the CGM - then definitely wait. You will have the car far longer than the amount of time that you'll have to wait.

If you really like CGM, just stick with it and wait. It will suck the few MONTHS you have to wait longer. On the other hand, the few YEARS (or decades perhaps) that you will have when your car gets produced will be worth it

I'm in the same boat as you. My dealer told me my order will be pulled next week if I change from CGM to another color. I told him to skip me until its available. Rumor is the constraint will be lifted next week. If true, CGM orders could possibly be pulled for the week of April 6th.

So I past on this weeks order.
So I'm going to hold out for CGM and see if the constraints are lifted.
On a good note JJ2010 should have received a call, because I ask the dealer and he said your up behind me and was calling you right then. Let me know if you got the call? |
