OMG! you have no legs right?? I'm impressed!! I'll never complain about the trunk being small again.

I had enough room for my sister, niece, nephew & my luggage for a week trip. I definitely agree that soft sided or duffle-type is the way to go. Now, had this been winter however, it never would have all fit for sure. This is one time that Im glad we don't have a hard top 'vert.

Lol, I wish I had, it took us a while to get it all figured out. When the top was down, we put my niece & nephew's bags under the net thingy (brain fart, can't remember what it's called at the moment) and mine and my sister's went in the front of the trunk(bumper side). So, all told, I'd say that I was about equivilant to Sux when he put himself and his wife in the car. I will say however that when the top was up, I did have to put the boot cover in the car behind the back seat. There is some really nice space there to use when the top is up since the seats don't come down in our cars. My niece and nephew are 10 & 13 so their bags weren't as big as mine and my sisters'. You difinitely have to pack with purpose for this trunk. More than 2 people and you can't use actual suitcases.

I just recently thought about putting my cover back there, but thought I couldn't just drop the top at a light.

Yeh, that is the drawback of using that space. However, I was able to start the process of putting the top down and when it got lifted a couple of feet, I crawled back and got it out so it wasn't like climbing thru an obstacle course to get back and get it out.

If by spare tire you mean the little motorcycle tire GM stuffed in the trunk that takes an engineer and the jaws of life to get out, then yes.
