I am having mine sprayed "Black Suede". I got a ball palk price around $400-600. Its very little prep work and the paint is very popular with the Hot Rodders these days.

The rear blackout comes with the hood and hockey stripes option, however, I think it only covers the trunk lid section of the rear, and not around the taillights like was done on the LS7 concept.

We are looking at doing both and selling them individually and as a two piece kit.

QFT. The one GMPP sells only covers a portion of the decklid - it doesn't cover the entire concave tail panel area like the LS7 blackout. A look at my sig and avatar shows what this thread is in relations to. If you look at the yellow accessories car they had at SEMA and various other shows, that one has the GMPP tail panel blackout.

So if you opted for the Rally stripes and wanted the rear blackout you'd have to buy the other complete kit...just for the rear cove strip.

Whomever (GM/Rider) comes out with just the rear strip first will get my business .

GM will be selling the rear strip on it's own. It has always given each vinyl stripe it has ever sold it's own part number so no change there.

The hood and hockey stripe is a dealer installed accessory anyway, which just means you order it at the part counter and either you can install it yourself or you can have them do it there. And since each component of the hood and hockey stripe package has it's own "part" number like Hylton said, all you have to do is mix and match what you want.

I'm still not sure if I want to throw the hockey stripes on my car in addition to the rally stripes. And since my car is black, no need to worry about the rear

If someone was smart they would get their hands on a Camaro to get measurements and sell pre-cut vinyl blackout kits on eBay.
I'm already planning to make a lot of vinyl stuff for the Camaro, but I have to get my hands on one first.

Def getting the rear black out!

I like the GM one myself as I don't want the entire area blacked out.
