Man!!

V8 is a different animal when it comes to sound. The secret is in the engine not the exhaust.

V6 has a different tone !

Save your money. Buy long tube headers, injen CAI, and match those with SLP loudmouth or MRT2 if you are only looking for loud sound !!

Just spend the money on a nice cat-back designed especially for the V6. The Solo with the J-pipes is the best IMHO.
Agreed!

It'll mount up, clamps and all.
That's all he asked.
I've got the v8 CherryBomb on mine. 2.5" all the way back. No stepped connection pipes, everything lined up without a hitch and I like the sound. No, it's not a v8 sound. I don't really care if anyone else likes the way it sounds. I like it and to me that's all that matters. He's not asking permission. He's not asking you if he should. He's just asking if it'll mount up. It does. Go for it if you want it. Check the exhaust sound sticky at the top because someone may have done exactly what you're trying to do and you may get an idea on the sound.

Ya, the V6 exhaust is definitely 2.5 inches, up until the H-pipe, I think.

I bought the Doug Thorley 2.5" cat-back exhaust and it mated up just fine. Works for the V8 and the V6 no problem.
