Damn, 30k miles isn't that much. I love the look of the rim/tire combo but that is expensive stuff right there.

Too late once the tire is damaged... But DiscountTire will sell you road hazard policies on any tires (any brands they sell, at least) - you didn't have to get them there. And you can always add the coverage later...

They once told me that a lot of people come in and buy coverage on tires on their brand new cars...

I got new P-Zeros at about 17k miles. I had spent part of the summer at the dragstrip though, so that was 10 Saturdays of runs.

I actually got Winter tires when I changed, and drove those through the winter. Now on my second set of P-Zeros. I'm trying to decide when to switch back to the Continentals though...probably in the next month. Should be expecting rain in late October/November.

tire wear is all in how you drive. the pirellis are a 220 tread wear. that is really soft. while my moms blazer has a set of michelins that are just about 600 tread wear. she has almost 200k on it and is ONLY on her third set of tires, then again she is a really cautious driver. her first (dealer) set was replaced at 66k, the dealer and tire guy were shocked it had that many miles on the first set.

i hope to get at least 30k out of my camaros tires. i doubt it because im having a hard time keeping off the throttle.

Is that the spot that was there when you got them? I assumed it was just cosmetic since it never leaked. Well I feel like crap

I have road hazard for a different car - it has 30 series bridgestone tires. The tires mounted and balanced was just over $1,800 and yes it was a good deal.

The issue I had with road hazard was after 12000 miles and the depreciation they give you practical nothing to cover the replacement. I think they offered me 190 to replace the tire.... Not worth buying the road hazard in my opinion.

30k on mine when sold and still had more than half tread life.

Today"s cars do not require the maintenance of the older models. Service shops invent new ways to take your money. Fuel injector cleaning is one of them Today's gasolines contain additives to keep the injectors clean. Use a name brand gasoline and injector cleaning should never be necessary. You can occasionally add a bottle of Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner to feel better if you want. Ten dollars is one hell of a lot cheaper than $140.
