But as I said before, I got it used with 13 K miles on it. and as 6 holes goes in the book, yet it still has a clear history. So I have no idea who put the bumper on...
I also will keep the Licence plate on, might as well since its the law in Texas. I don't want to pay for another persons' mistreat of a Camaro. That alone should be a fine.

Same thing happened to me... bought my car in North Carolina where they require front plates and South Carolina doesnt. I only have 2 holes but im sure it should be cheap and pretty easy for a body shop to fill sand and paint. Go get quoted at a local body shop that would be your best and cheapest option.

That's okay, the idiot who drilled the holes for the plate done it crooked. I had to fix it, so the plate stays....

Yeah when I drive I tend to drift off into the left lane sometimes. On the bright side i get better gas mileage without all the weight, I might start to drill holes everywhere.

where is the thread for thread for that hidden plate with the remote?
can't seem to find it. I live in texas. My plate is not going on.
If I get more than three tickets I MIGHT go the hidden plate route.
To the OP, yea it sux to be in Texas. I have gotten more if these kind of tickets that I would care to discuss. I think some cops actually look at the car and know if you have a HP vehicle you probably wont be havin a front plate which is more money in the city's or county pocket. The big citys don't tend to be too concerned. Its the small metro areas like I live in Mesquite, Garland, Balch Springs.... Of course the DPS if they see you on a hwy without a tag will turn around and run over 50 cars in the process of getting to you if they see you without a front plate...
As far as If needed these types of repairs for the holes like you have, id take it to a professional so the paint would match.
My body shop would tell you to let them put a new bumper on and repaint...they would not bother with filling the holes...
Already know that..

I have looked into the hidden plate, but then again it would just be drilling more holes in such a beauty of a car.

If it was me I'd put the plate mount back on the car then buy some kind of Camaro plate. Just for the record; I don't like the front plate mount.

<------idiot here

I drilled underneath my front fascia for my hideaway plate and mismarked. I have 5 holes in my fascia for 3 screws. LUCKILY it's underneath the fascia and not in front so I can at least down grade to a lesser idiot.
