do it! nothing wrong with being "older" and in school! My mom has 2 degrees and my dad has 8! And they still want to do more. They just like it. education has no age limit. Be happy!

Thanks for all your input, folks. At this point I don't have any definite plans but I've been entertaining the thought of culinary school. I hear what everyone is saying about the medical field and I don't think I'll ever fully let it go, maybe just find an area of nursing that will allow me to pursue another avenue on the side. I'm a firm believer in doing whatever makes you happy so I'm looking forward to getting myself back into school, just wanted to hear what other like minded Camaro owners had to say.

I'm 31 and finishing my engineering degree - I didn't know what I wanted to "be when i grew up" until now

My friend has a grandmother that just graduated from college in her 90's - you're never too old to learn something new or make a career change.

Wanted to be a cop when I graduated high school. When I moved to Arizona I found out you needed to be 21 to be an officer out here. So I started doing the next best thing and started catching shoplifters. Got so good at that I got my own department and finally a district 9 years later. I feel lucky that I found what I was good at when I was 18, seems like most people don't find their career until 25-30 or if ever.

I started over at the age of 40 after being a tool maker for over 20 years. Went back to school and got a two year degree in Computer Science. Along with that I got my MCSE, CNA and CLA ( Lantastic ). I've been retired now for about seven years and never looked back.
