My neighbor bought a Maroon convertible with a beige top and all the stripe combinations he likes clash badly with a beige top...get the black.

I went with black on mine. I debated it for a while and got to noticing older convertibles (all makes and models) and it seemed to me that lighter colors tend to show dirt, stains and fading more than black tops. Not to mention wrinkles stood out more on non-black tops

I think there is a pic of an IBM with a beige top in the IBM color thread. I really didn't like it. Personally all the sexy lines in the top go away with the vert. But I would go black
