I would not have let them put that bracket on my car. Get a Stow-N-Go plate holder. That way you can show your plate when you have to, otherwise you can hide it.

Congratulations! I loved that car since they introduced it and got to see it in Oshawa.
I have run my DD for 2 years without a front plate and the Stow-N-Go or at least the automatic one, will not fit a V6 lip.

With the pointed nose, those hidden plates have to go to the side and that just looks horrible in my opinion. Somebody need to design one that can clear the point and still attach well. I have one for my SS and have considered some modifications to it to make it clear the pointed nose and be centered but I have nothing I feel is really that great of an approach. I only really need to get 3 more inches or so out of the extension. One size does not fit all in my opinion.
