These are the picture I found. You need to check a 2012 model year. Zoom this, and compare the digit ',3 '' for example.

Again, if it really bugs you I will trade speedo/tachs with you. I personally can't see a difference.

Design ! The style of the lettering is different. Zoom the pic and compare the digits.
I do not try to create a debate here, I just post this in order for GM to improve. In this type of issue, it is always a question on where you draw the lines in terms of Quality of Design. The Camaro is a very beautifull car. A detail like this, is easy to correct for the people who decided to upgrade the cluster for the model year 2012 but forgot, volountary or not, the font/ digits format of the 4 gauges of the console. |

My guess is GM got complaints about the dash styling, so they made a change.

rc the photos you show are the zl1 , notice the suspension buttons and display notes suspension choices. these are concept pictures and not actual.

It's called cost cutting. It was faster/cheaper to just leave them. It's not radically different and it's impossible to see both at the same time.
