Actually: The driver was alone in the car and WALKED AWAY with a minor nick on his forehead and a very SORE wallet. Amazing.
Wow Amazing for sure. That is great to hear never expected that outcome.

OP..........check with your dealer to see who they use for their minor lot dings and scratches......Dentless Paint Service/ Paint Master's, ie. They're inexpensive miracle workers and quick!

Accidents happen to even the best of drivers. You were lucky that it was a minor scratch. You learned the cheap way. I am glad you were able to fix it easily and that it was just a minor scratch.

Before the wreck.............it was Caspers twin...yikes.

I feel your pain sorry brother. You also can wrap the mirror in vinyl or carbon fiber for a quick or temporary fix.

Bumped into items along my wall in my garage and scuffed my front bumper. It did piss me off so I understand but you can have the mirror shell repainted fairly cheap.

$50.00 if you have your local auto paint guy make you a pint of base coat white and put it in an aerosol can ($25.00) and then get a rattle can of urethan clear coat with built in activator (gives you 24 hours to use after activating the can) $25.00. Then you or a buddy with a steady hand repaints the whole mirror shell yourself. I did this fender with this system and it turned out perfect. I used PPG paint.
