I forgot to add, a friend in high school did have an 85 IROC Z. Only problem is he never let anyone drive it. I think I will understand when I get mine.

First Camaro.

I've been driving/modding imports for years and I never considered buying a new American car until I saw the concept for the first time.

You've taken your first step...into a larger world! Excellent choice.

late 80's: Still learning to walk and talk
90's: Starting school
00's: Learning to drive and starting college
2010: Driving an SS?

Got a call that 2SS/RS insurance = $1,470/yr (122/mo). Works for me.

I fell in love with my dads Z28. Always wanted one but for some reason or another (money, kids and....kids) never had one to call my own. My time has finally come. Like my husband always says "When mama is happy, everyone is happy"! He has always been a very smart man! Now if only GM would build the darn thing and take my money!

Called up my agent and gave them Rick Hendrick's VIN. They crunched the numbers and gave me that. No more than what I'm paying on the Exploder right now as a matter of fact. Crazy..

I'm only 22 by the way and this isn't a rider quote.

This will be my 2nd Camaro. I had a 1994 Z/28 that I bought brand new when I was 18! I had to sell it five years later when my Daughter was born (Z/28 wasn't the easiest car to get a baby seat in). So I've waited ten years to get another Camaro. Ten years Man. I hope this explains why I'm so moody on these boards. So close....yet so far away!!

First time Camaro driver, but my pops had one way back in the day and I still remember my mom driving around in her IROC in the early 90's. The legacy continues......then again, I am driving a Toyota right now

At any rate, I want to tell people that my car was built with tools not chopsticks
