Thanks, And yea they do sound sick!

Update: Got somethings figured out and fixed Today...
When we first got the car for some reason the left rear tire had a 225 on it and all 3 of the others were 245s. So we swapped out the 225 with one of the fronts, so both rears were 245s.
Also it was leaking from the radiator, So we looked under the cold air intake and found where it was coming from, the upper radiator hose had a small rip in it, so we took it off, then flushed out the coolants that were mixed together and put some dex-cool in it

That is a pretty clean older Camaro. When you are ready for some suspension and chassis stuff let us know and we can get you set up.

Nice looking Camaro.

Be sure to save up for a new set of tires. Those things are toast! You want a matching set of tires with good tread depth, and the same pattern. If the car has had those tires for a really long time, it looks like the alignment is off because one of the tires is worn really bad on the outer edge. It's scrubbing on the pavement because the suspension geometry is off. An alignment will cost you $50-$60 at a tire shop. Usually good to do it the same time you get a new set of tires.

Looking good. What tires are you running on it (currently)?

I traded in my 98 Dodge Ram 1500 for it. Camaro had 137,000 miles and runs great. The only thing is that it might have a blown head gasket but we are not sure becuase he said the last owner mixed the wrong coolants in it. The radiator has a very murky fluid in it so my dad said it might have a blown head gasket...?
The Mods:
K&N Cold Air Intake
Exhuast ( Not sure what Kind yet)
Corvette Rims
Future Plans:
Pacesetter Longtube headers
Port And Polish Stock Heads
CC306 Texas speed cam ( Or custom grind)
BMR Lowering Kit
Sway Bars
Strut Tower Bar
Drag Radials
Custom Tune
Goal is to Get Into High to Mid 12s With those Mods.
I think you could hit your goal pretty easy with that

oh stay away from the lowering springs. it will slow you down. It effects weight transfer to the rear wheels

Thanks, didnt know that.. I hate how high it sits though But i guess some Drag radials or et streets would fill the wheel wells pretty good.

if you lower the car you just need to use relocation brackets for the rear LCA's and an adjustable pan hard bar. then you get proper weight transfer and the rear will be centered like it should be.

Having the opportunity you do, I'd ditch the 383 idea and go with something a little more "updated".....more cubes, more power for similar money. The combo's are virtually endless....cruise on over to LS1tech and do some homework. It could pay off in the long run.....
