I have no dyno to prove it but a catback gives you like 20 hp, about 15 wheel. Cut outs make more power than closed exhaust so I think it probably makes almost 18-20 more wheel when they are open.

BUT I have no dyno to prove this yet, someday Ill get one.

You would at least get as much as a catback though.

I don't know of a single cat back system that has ever advertised this claim for our V6, or even close to it.

I can't believe the cutouts would provide the kind of HP you think it does.

But prove me wrong would cause me to go buy a set too............

Ill just have to get a dyno! A catback may actually give you the equivalent of 20 hp though just from losing that heavy stock exhaust + maybe 12 hp of gain.

Had them welded in the bronx for $90, you probably wont be able to beat that price so figure $150 to $200 at a place like Meineke(sp?).

I wired them myself. It look about 40 minutes to run the wires. You have to secure them under the car, through the engine bay, then get them through the firewall. There is an extra 12v source from the driver's side fuse box so all I did was splice a female connector onto the cut out power wire then plugged it in. Grounding is right next to the fuse box too. That took about 10 minutes. There is also an easy way to mount the switch right above the far left air vent so no drilling is needed.

A shop will charge you upwards of $200 to do the wiring. You could do it yourself in about an hour or less. I should make a guide...

SOLO makes a pretty crazy HP claim over stock. Not saying I believe it but when I saw it, I sure went
