Full size pics are in the Troy link in my sig.
Yeah, we had a major discussion about this a long time ago...

Dude... with all due respect this is lolers.

You probably should not be buying a sports coupe if you don't want good looking exhaust.

Maybe stick to an Aveo or the like.

POR-15 paint will take the heat that far back on the exhaust. It comes in satin black. You brush it on and it dries smooth like it was sprayed on.

Don't you all wish for the OLD days when the mufflers were in FRONT of the axle ... and the gas tank was behind ??

It's just another thing we must live with for extra safety ... would much rather have two air filled metal boxes in the crumple zone than one filled with gasoline !!

The Mustangs through 2004 (like my current driver) still had the gas tank behind the axle and it has a nice black plastic cover over it, with purdy S.S. tails running along each side ... LOOKS real nice.

The 2005-up Mustangs swapped the mufflers for the gas tank, and it was one thing I really did not like then either. Magnaflow came out with a cat-back that had bullet type mufflers in place of the big oval cans and you could no longer see them from the rear ... again LOOKS real nice. The Camaro GMPP mufflers are similar to this ... maybe a little bigger than the Magnaflow system I mentioned, but should be much less visable from the rear. There will be plenty of aftermarket options in the near future too.
