No, but your location said St. Louis and you said GM plant.
Wentzville is the only GM plant in the St. Louis area.

You need to go about 10 miles south of there if you want to get a picture...

That actually makes more sense to me.

My uncle and a good friend where both truckers. I know how they roll.

Fast and ugly. I just could not see 18 wheelers of camaro's sitting around.

Sorry about the call back, some there know...some... The spot to look is the port of Wilmington. Several were there a week or so ago waiting to ship out.

This is how we tracked our '99 Camaro SS 10 years ago, but we didn't make phone calls. It was all through the website links. We didn't have to bother anyone. When people figured out the phone numbers, they started making a LOT of phone calls instead of tracking through the websites and it created a big headache to where the carriers refused to give out out info. Please, everyone...don't mess it up for others. Track using non-invasive methods and don't pester the customer service reps at the carriers. Wait until your dealer has a status that confirms that your car is actually on a rail car, then track that rail car number on the company's website.

Yes, you were able to track on-line 10 years ago. But that was before 9/11. Most of the rail companies stopped on-line tracking unless you were a customer of the rail company. UP may still be offering on-line tracking.
They began to offer the phone trace/tracking systems. They are all automated & computerized so you will not be bothering a rail employee.
But you need your rail car number and what rail companies will be handling it. The DBC can provide that to your dealer. Don't bother calling them if you don't have a rail car number or know what company will be carrying your car.

But don't be afraid to call once you have the proper info. These are public phone numbers on a public website put there just for these types of reasons.

I've noticed that BNSF has online VIN tracking. You need to register, but that should be no big deal.

UP has online railcar tracking. Doesn't appear you need to register.
