Anyone else with L99 have extremely low numbers with mods??
Not sure how much it affects you but temp here is extremely humid and hot and gas here is horrible. They sell 95 which is equivalent to 91 but a really cheap 91... I guess I'm just trying to find excuses for this low dyno run. I mean damn... I was expecting more but after I sat down and think about it I keep thinking something is wrong with dyno. First run was 324 rwhp no torque reading Then I hit 331 no torque reading Then I hit 301rwhp 361rwtq Then 341 395rwtq (claimed spike was due to car moving the torque clamp) Then 342 392 rwtq (again claimed spike was due to car moving torque clamps) THen 352 356rwtq |

Yeah you're right... Just like to have numbers to back up claims haha. People here love throwing numbers around.
They all think my camaro is a 4.2L V6 lol... Until we line up and run. |

That guy sounds like a major retard. Basically you could have probably got better results with one of those gtech pro thing-a-majigs.

Humidity plays a roll, K&N also posted poor numbers with Jannetty's independent dyno pulls/testing... I went with CAI... roto, VR also seem to post some good runs.
L99 here as well, you should be at 370.

I got 382rwhp with ARH 1 7/8" headers and Bora S exhaust, CAI air intake with scoop, and a VMAX throttle body. I have an L99
It was a rainy nasty day. Personally I think all this Dyno talk is a lot of crap. I can tell you this, after all those mods and a tune... IT GOES FASTER Hell yeah |

I am not a gear head by far (not mechanically inclinded at all), but I have read a lot on here. All of the really good shops on here all say Dynos are a tool for tuning. They will give you a pretty good idea of where you are sitting RWHP/RWTQ wise. Those numbers will change if you go to a different dyno, weather changes (temps and humidity) and I am sure a few other factors. Everyone states the real test is at the track. I wouldn't get hung up on the numbers. Sounds like your performance is pretty good for the mods you have done.
