Just tried to google a pic that looked like it. Here is a sorta better one. The jump spot is circled. It's the silver below the black. Like I said, at the bottom of it, there are two jump terminals.

Oh noes! I'll have to remember to check my VW's manual if I ever need to jump start it. Quirks like that are common with VW...hopefully not so much with the Camaro.
yeah i think you might have it there with the alternator cuz the case is true ground
