Yes AFM. Thats the price we pay for shutting down 4 cylinders. Not to bad for me. Got used to it. You also feel a slight vibration on the pedal.

I notice it on mine when the afm kicks in. The only time I can "feel" it kick in is in town driving. Doesn't really bother me though.

I am going to be buying a Camaro SS in January, and would like to know if this is something I should be wary of, or embrace.

Sorry, for my ignorance. I use this site for most of my research into what car I want to get.

Not an annoyance at all. I kinda like it but its not AFM. I can replicate it in park by barely pressing the pedal. Its just the pitch of the exhaust at a certain RPM has a much deeper sound and rumbles the car a bit.

If it's an "L99", it's the AFM, my Auto 2SS/RS Vert does it all the time, Sounds like S**t.

Every object (a Camaro is an object) has a resonant frequency at which that object vibrates. Maybe your engine's "one long song" hits that resonant frequency and your Camaro sings to you.

AFM went bye bye on mine 2 weeks after I got it. Hated It! Felt like driving a manual car in the wrong gear
