When I had my 99 I mounted it on the air dam. The dealer wouldn't give me a sticker without it. When I get my 2012 I will get a hideaway.

I got a $155 dollar ticket; there is a front plate now.

Ct is a 2 plate state but it's not actively enforced. I bet one of every ten cars doesn't have one. A front plate does destroy the looks of the front end of the Camaro IMO.

2 plates here...MA state cops are notorious for this out here...id rather play it safe...besides...i didnt think they would install it at my dealer since i asked them not to...but they wouldnt let me take it without it..for my own safety i guess....
its a rough look ill admit...but u know what...better than 2 holes

Req'd here in CA, but l'm at loath to do it.
Interestingly, at a recent Irvine CA Cars and Coffee event, I noticed A LOT of cars weren't wearing front plates. |

Required in VA also. Installed a hide away bracket on mine. Hated to drill but better than drilling front of bumber.
