That would make it about $48,395 invoice cost to dealers from $54,995 MSRP. A $6,600.00 profit before 3% holdback and other incentives.

Well theres invoice, then you have holdback, advertising, incentives, etc etc.. I think normal Invoice/supplier pricing would be about 2K below MSRP ... thereabouts. Sure they have more to make than that, but only if you want them to lose some money. If you can get 1500 or so below sticker, you're doing very good on this car. But, on the other hand, I've seen some GS Vettes with stickers at 68 going for 58. But GM has dealer incentives on them they won't have on ZL1.....

You've got to ask the dealer to see the invoice as I posted in my invoice discussion. Nowadays, GM doesn't give a lot of markup to the dealers. Most of the discounts come from incentives, if applicable. The last time I checked, the markup in a loaded 2SS won't exceed $2k. I imagine a ZL1 will have a little more to it, but I have trouble seeing 12% markup.
