As far as the rest of the cloth trim on the doors and dash, I will probably go aftermarket with that too, because the cubicle wall liner just doesn't do it for me. Carbon fiber, even if its fake, might do the trick. Brushed aluminum would be perfect.
omg, lol, your right! it really does look exactly like cubicle wall liner--too funny!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be changing the cloth trim on my black on black 1SS/RS. It'll probably be either the yellow or white trim kit. I don't think I'll go with the silver (I'm not an Oakland Raider fan). I also think I'll have to add the 4 pack gages too (they look great all lit up).

I've been going back and forth for days trying to justify putting up the extra cash for the 2SS just for the leather, since I don't really need any of the other options included and the picture with the kid in it really does show me a great reason to get cloth
My girlfriend spills like no other and it looks pretty durable. Money saved a.k.a going towards exhaust and air intake

Scattergun, those dash inserts are pretty sweet looking although it looks like the dash and door pieces aren't 100% flush with each other. I'll be looking at those white ones to match my rally stripes. Anyone think that will look stupid since I'm going with grey interior? I wish they had a white two tone interior so that I'd would all be consistent.

I think I like the beige interior best, it has a two-tone contrast but keeps the black carpet and floormats. I don't think I like the gray carpet that comes with the gray seats, and the all-black cloth interior is kind of, well, all-black. I just wonder about keeping the beige interior clean.

If you are on the fence, sit in one with cloth before you decide. I sat in one at the Atlanta show and maybe its been sat in a zillion times, but I noticed 2 things. It felt kind of flat like an old sofa and all that gray/black looks really monotonous. I was on the fence but after that I'm definately going 2SS when I get mine. Some "cloth" interiors are really heavy duty like tent fabric..this one not so much. Of course I'm spoiled with leather in the wife's car an leather in my 99ss...hard to go back.

Overtime the cloth just gets dirty and it hard to keep clean in my experience. Leather, if treated properly is the way to go. Spill a drink on cloth and you got a mess that
goes deep into the seat. Spill it on leather and just wipe it up.

You allow drinks in your car?

But what I don't like about (most GM) leather, is how quickly it wrinkles and wears, it's so thin. The 4th gen Camaro leather seats, and the current Corvette leather seats, don't hold up well at all. Cloth will actually show less wear and tear. Except for dirt and stains.

Now my GTO leather seems pretty good, hopefully the Camaro leather is similar but I can't tell until I see one.

Yea, for some reason it seems like GM leather wrinkles like no other. I don't understand why but I just hope they have fixed the issue with the Camaro...
