I did it in 07 in my STi with some not really legal race slicks. I took a turn about 3kms in so hard I actually stress fractured the windshield in the bottom right corner in a hard left. It was glorious.

The Rocket City Camaro club ran the Dragon back in October. Awesome run! I'd definitely be up for running it again, and know of a few club members who would join up as well. We rented a cabin near Gatlinsburg, and it work out really well.

How many rooms is the cabin? I may rent a cabin also if people would like to split the $$

I would probably be interested in going June 1-3rd. Also, interested in meeting up with anyone in Va or NC to drive down and back with.

Ya'll come on down! If it does not clash with any major events for us the Music City Camaro Club & Central Kentucky Camaro clubs would be up for participating. We have also talked about doing this for over a year. Keep me posted.

There were ~4 rooms plus tons of extra space. The cabin had three floors. We had about 10 people go, and I think I paid ~$50/night for my share.

We got the mid sized cabin too; they had larger ones.

If I have my car by then maybe. I was planning to go over the summer anyways with my brother and the club3g crowd since that's what he drives. It would be cool if these are back to back with them.

Anyone considered going in the spring before the BIG CROWDS appear? ACE5 might be up for this. I drove the dragon 3 or 4 times last year. Think it rained every time. Even drove it coming back from Hot Rod Power Tour (from Indy) in the dark

Maybe someone could set up a poll???? Put it in the Southeast and Florida thread?
