No dealer knows their allocation for 2013.

But GM wouldnt look at the order UNLESS they were seeing if they could build it... meaning they are going to build mine correct? means my dealer does have an allocation?

Drake i was at 2030 for 34 days and was thinking just like u , then i hit 2000, then 10 days later i hit 2500 and 3000 the same day then 10 days later 1/21 i hit 3100 and 3300 the same day

so heads up its happening for u now if u moved

From what I was told, if you didn't go to 2000 at all then 2030 is just like 1100. In both my cases, it was due to IBM. The Order then got modified (2030) and now awaits to be picked up which is 1100

but why would GM look at it if they had no anticipation of building it? thats what im trying to figure out

2030 is an internal edit view from the system,
Chevrolet looks at the orders....
to check for errors and order count.

The order that shows 2030,
is actually 1100.. And will return
to that status after Chevrolet looks at it.
..Awaiting when the dealer has
available allocation to place it.

I didnt say they weren't going to be built I just implied that most of the 2030 order numbers are actually 1100

Correct ...

1100 - Dealer put order into system

2300 - GM confirms it's a good order ( makes sure you don't have a yellow car and IOM interior )

2300 goes back to 1100

2000 - GM picks up order, and uses dealer allocation for the order

yea thats what Becky said... she said i was at 1100... lets just hope my dealer is an honest one lol... i have good hopes though... and the longer the wait the better becuase its more money i can put down and pay off other debt

Drake - -I'd mentioned on another thread that if you are concerned, you should go to your dealer and ask them to go to the "Launch" website -- there they'll be able to find their 'guide number' - better known to us as "allocation" -

That will tell the dealer with no uncertain terms how many (if any) ZL1s he/she is getting for the 2012 model year. We have not pubished a guide number for 2013 and will not for some time.......

If the dealer is getting ONE ZL1 - then you need to say "Is that ZL1 going to be mine?" If they're getting TWO -- ask the same question.....
If the answer is 'yes' - then all is well - sit back - and try (and I know it isn't easy) to be patient -


As to someone else's post - we have not annouced how many ZL1s we'll build for the 2012 model year - but I can tell you that not every dealer will receive one - so the numbers are limited. It's also a relatively short model run as we have model-changeover in June......

the dealer said i was allocated spot 2 of the 3 they are getting.. i also have this in writing if that helps any... thanks bro!
