Yeah with that strong schedule it's hard to believe, eh?

Seriously? You've played one AL East series so far? We'll see what happens now that the rest of the AL East plays the other scrub divisions and the Jays come around to playing their division-mates.

Am I frustrated? Well yeah a little bit. The young Rays in their sophomore slump, so to speak, and with the hardest month in baseball schedule-wise so it's a bit frustrating.

In all honesty, as long as it's not the Skankees or the Red Sux on top, I'm cool.

well actually they have played Baltimore and the Yankees. They have a series with the Red Sox (Tues-Thurs) coming up. That will be a real test, but even against non-divisional opponents you still need to put the pitcher on the mound and you still need to hit the ball. Beating the White Sox, Indians, Angels just to mention a few. They are still going strong, and I think they can make some real noise this year.

I stand semi-corrected. Toronto has two divisional series under their belt...and are 4-2 in those two series.

6 games in the division.

Tampa Bay has played 22 divisional games in the hardest division in baseball...most of it on the road. 22 out of 38 games have been AL East games! Ridiculous start for the team. Oh and the Rays are above .500 for AL games, only the Sox have us beat in percentages and the Sox can't find a way to consistently beat the Rays yet.

Once the Rays have 22 games against AL Central teams and Toronto has it's AL games under the belt I'll gladly come back and take my mocking...but not yet.

I'm not mocking. I am just happy to finally see the Jays playing above .500 baseball. It has been a looong time since they ever had this good of a record. Regardless of opponents. In the past few years, even if the Jays had the same schedule they would still be .500 or below, so it is just good to see them playing well. I want them to make the playoffs, it has been a LONG time (93) since they made it into October.

Again, I wish no ill will against them, I'm just frustrated. Just beat the hell out of the Yankees, we'll take care of the Red Sox...hehe.
