Another pro is that you can keep your car detailing products in the garage rather that
in your apartment. Option #2;

$75 is a pretty damned good deal for the garage. I rent a 10' x 20' storage space here in MI, and it runs $1120 per year. Storage spaces vary widely in price, the price I am getting is very good for this area, and the unit is alarmed. So you can see at $900 per year for the garage, it is a great price, especially for the piece of mind it will buy you.

Get it! A 200-300 ft walk (exercise) is not a con!

I had a 2000 Z28 and it was damaged 3 times in the parking lot of my apartment complex.After that experience,I got a garage every where I moved until I purchased my home.No one gives a crap about your car but you,so it is up to you to protect it if the $75.00 and short walk is not to much for you.

Where I live I've been renting an extra garage for $40 a month since beginning of December, and I'll probably continue it through the end of March. Living in NW Ohio we usually have a decent amount of snow/frost over the winter and that was the main reason I wanted a garage, but somehow we have had like no snow/frost...yet

I live in an apartment and I keep my Camaro in a garage on the complex. It's the best thing you can do to your car. Well worth the $75 a month.

How much do you pay for rent on the apt.? If you add the cost of the garage, might it make more sense to rent a home with an attached garage and not even worry about going outside to get to your car at all?

I am living in a corporate apartment for a few months until I sell my house and a couple of weeks ago someone stole my wheels. $6000 in wheels verses 75/month for a garage? No contest.

Check with you insurance company, it's possible there may be a discount for it being garaged. This may make the choice easier.
