That there are. I would almost bet A6 options will ramp up with the Zl1 becoming more popular and actually sitting at dealerships for sale as opposed to specific personal orders. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe dealerships have better luck moving automatic cars than standard straight off the lot, no?

I'm 27 yrs old and have ALWAYS driven a manual transmission (first 3 cars ever owned were stick shift) and my current car is an automatic with paddles (lexus is350) so I've decided to go back to Manual transmission again, especially in a car like this. Plus it will keep my wife from using my car for various errands

No idea... the ZL1 maybe a completely different animal with this price tag... I know a lot of folks like to keep the significant other happy with a family friendly auto. This one might be a bit different... I know it is in my case...

You have to remember that most soon to be zl1 owners aren't on Camaro 5. When sales numbers come out there will be many more auto owners. The regular camaro is something like 70/30 automatic. I will have the manual tho. Older Americans are the group that will be most able to afford this car, and they want autos due to simplicity.

Why do you think this small C5 sample size be different than folks who aren't on C5... Ages are pretty diverse around here..

Manual for me. Just have always thought muscle cars should be. Like it was said earlier. It will keep my wife out of it most of the time. Jmo
