...I would hope that by next year, due to increased supply and heavier-stocking (to our advantage, I could purchase one at invoice or less (~$35000)? OR; seeming that GM vehicles have a greater depreciation than others ...... would it be possible to purchase one with less than 20,000 miles for $27-$29,000??! Does this seem within the realm of possibility?
You could possibly get an ex rental. Who knows how much at this point.

Only the enthusiast and collectors will keep this car no matter what. Just my opinion.

P.S. I guess I fall in the semi young category but not starting a family

Thumbs up

I'm going to say it's all in the mileage, how well the car is kept up and where you live has a big part in pricing as well.
Hope this helps.

I will be selling mine next year. As long as the convertible is produced. I really want it but didn't want to wait another year for a new car. So we ordered the coupe for now with the intent to trade in or sell it ourselves. I'm at 3000, no vin yet of course, I ordered...

2SSRS IOM, Auto, Sunroof, Blk Interior, Midnight Silver Wheels.
It will be custom painted similar to the Dale Jr. concept, Black over IOM

We all know GM cars do not hold there value. Depending on how many GM is able to produce with having the plant closed for two months starting in July will be a determaining factor of just how upside down we will be after paying MSRP for it. After the demand wears off and dealers start willing and dealing on the retail price of the car the people that held out and waited a year to buy it will be in much better shape than us.

Personally, sure, I think you'd be able to find one in that price range in a year when supply catches up. But also expect to have the normal scratches and dings of a used car, too (this might be a good thing...you won't want to cry when your 'baby' gets a little nick or ding!)
