I'm intrigued by the reports of how easy it is to pop the trunk - I keep my keys in my coat pocket and I've yet to accidentally open the trunk....

(But you watch, now it's going to happen tonight...)

Reminds me of the time I owned a Ford Cortina. I had started the car and looked down at the key ring and noticed the ignition key dangling. I looked up and saw my apartment mailbox key in the ignition. Turned the car off and compared the keys. They were identical. What are the odds?

It's weird, but my wife's key fob (Lexus IS250) would affect a Focus that would always park nearby at our apartment...

It's flashers would go off when she locked her car, as if someone were locking/unlocking the Ford- but not to full strength. More of a flicker than a flash. This happened every single time, without fail.

That's weird maybe when you are getting out from your car you hit the button on the door to open the trunk at some point. I have notice my key is acting funny when it comes to exiting best buy. It always sets off the alarm and they always tell me hey stop right their I laugh cause I know its the key. They check everything and everything is legit I walk out again and the alarm goes off again. This time I tell it's the keys that are making the alarm go off has this happen to anyone.

Girlfriend was giving me a lap dance one night and she sat in my lap and we started making out and the way she was sitting hit the panic button in my pocket and seet my car off. I heard the car going off from inside the house and pushed her off me rather quickly which hurt her feelings as I ran outside without saying anything. She didn't realize it was my car going off. She fell on the floor when I pushed her off me too. oops my bad....but, she laughed later though.

Even though you figured out what happened, I would still be on the look-out for any type of other para-normal activity. You never know, finding the set of Camaro keys in the bottom of your wife's purse could possibly be only coincidental to what is actally going on.
I would consult with a psychic investigator/ghost buster before jumping to any conclusions.

This had me scared! Haha, I had nightmare-ish visions of mustang drivers popping my trunk and getting in my camaro!

Glad to hear it was just the extra set of keys in the wife's purse.
