My dealer is having a BBQ and I'll be there. The salesman I talked to was really excited about it. It will be the first time I've seen the car in person too.

Well my dealer had probably 50-60 people look at the Camaro's the Monday I had them there for Steph all day. Since the V-6 would be saleable that day folks may come.

my dealer said why would they bother with no car...........can't blame em', they've had 5 allocations built out of 13 plus a dealer car. of those 6 built cars, ZERO have made it to the dealer yet!

the General is really dropping the ball on this thing.

My dealer has pushed theirs to the 9th. Saturday so more people can come, plus there will be a corvette show.

I haven't decided 100% yet. I don't have my car, nor do I expect to have my car by then and my dealer doesn't have their dealer car......so, why take off work to stand around and wish my car were there?

Maybe GM's gonna feed some live Camaro Parade to all the dealers that didn't get a car in time?

I was going to chime in Scott.

The day Scott had the 3 Camaros on the lot out front was ANYTHING but boring. it's a fairly small town and there was NO time that someone wasn't there looking and talking about this car. Before it was over 7 (seven, 6+1) people ordered, including a guy who had a Chally on order and cancelled the Chally. This works.

Side note. My dealer called me when I was on my way to Eufala to se Steph and Scott and asked if I could bring my Camaro to the May 6th event. After arguing for a few minutes about my car not being here by then he asked if I could come down to answer questions about the car. lol

I'll be there.

Yep our car club Classic Camaro of Central Florida will be at Courtesy Chevrolet by the Airport (Orlando, FL) on Wednesday May 6th, and then at Classic Chevrolet (Altamonte Springs, FL) for there event on Friday may 8th.

Not sure what is happening on the May 6th event at the dealers, besides having the car there. CamaroScotty (a poster here) said that his dealer is having the event that day too, so I plan to stop down with my son to check it out. If they had a bbq, that would be cool ;o)
