poll is about 50/50...how about pros and cons of each color?? is one easier to keep clean than the other???

Red is plain gloss paint where IOM is a metallic. I am thinking of switching from CGM to VR but am having a hard time giving up my metallic paint.

Having seeen IOM in person now, I will also say it is an awesome sight. The problem is... it's just not for me. If you like the color and can live with it... then I say go for it, it's very purty.

Well for one, you're going from one end of the spectrum to the other, and yes I know how it would feel to go from metallic to solid. If your first feeling was CGM...go with that. Maybe Im a little bias, because I love CGM...It's an awesome color...go with your senses.

I believe VR and IOM will be the same in the keeping clean category. My VR is getting slaughtered now though.

IOM looks gorgeous in sunlight, but it gets a little "tomato"ey in cloudy weather. I love the look of it, but I don't think I could own it. (no offense to the IOM brothers!). I went with my gut after some serious thought, and I'm loving my choice.

Or maybe this helps. IT was overcast and thats next to my 94 RED z28, yes its a 94 with a self conversion after i totalled it.

But you can see the difference on a cloudy day.

IOM still pops.
