The more I look at these two pictures, the stripe looks the same color to me in both pictures. Yes, it looks lighter in the auto show picture but so does the car overall. What is really needed is a good picture of the whole car with a roof stripe to compare the exposed insert with the stripe in the same photo / lighting / angle / etc.

I want my car now. Stripe no stripe, dark or lighter I just want it now. Still seating at 2030 for 2 months.

Not in my opinion. Been to the show twice and looked at it in person on all angles very closely......the Toronto Show ZL1 show car stripe is not anywhere close to CF and is a shade of grey all the way. The pictures shot are a very good representation of it.

If "lighting" has that dramatic an effect on it, you may get those conditions outside anyway (depending on the day of course). Doesn't a car show have brighter lights to show a car off at its best

Not trying to be negative but just honest from my perspective and I think a few local Toronto members on this forum who have been to the show have agreed.

It actually isn't that bad of a combo on the rear trunk section with the IOM colour .....and without it on the roof (because of the sunroof) having it just on the rear could work for some possibly.

I'm going to reserve judgment until I see MY ZL1 in the flesh. Nothing quite like putting one's very own hairy eyeball on the subject matter for a dose of reality.

At this point, I really don't give a sh*t... I just want my car, NOW! OK, after I repour my slightly reconfigured driveway in a futile attempt to achieve another bleepin' 1.5° of approach angle clearance. It's ONLY $$$$$$$$, right?
