I knew insurance was going to be an issue with this car at a young age. :(

Yeah...it was.... And no offense to you AT ALL Ant. It really was funny.

Unfortunately, insurance (no matter who you go with) is going to be a BEE OTCH for any teenager....or 21 and under for that matter. There's just no getting around it. You could check into making your mom the "primary driver" for the insurance and have you as a second driver (but you are really the only one driving....that's about the only way. Wonder what that would run vs only you on the insurance.

It's going to be tough. Maybe...and I know this is the last thing you want to hear.....but, maybe hold off a bit and get into a 4th Gen for now? You should probably be able to find one fairly inexpensive.

Ant, you should realistically look at the reasons insurance costs are so high. Why do kids, 21 and under get charged such a huge rate on a sports car??

Because they tend to wreck them or they drive like a complete moron. I'm not saying you will, I'm just trying to make a point....

Cars like these are not made for your age group, that's why there are so many restrictions for you to get through, i.e., insurance costs, high price, etc.

If you can bamboozle the system to your advantage, good on you. I just hope you don't fit the stereotype of destroying your car in the first 6 months.

Yes, I also thought the joke was funny, no offense taken.

And I don't fit the stereotypical teen driver. I'm actually a very good and responsible driver. I've had my license for a year and a half and I've yet to get into any accidents, and haven't gotten any tickets either.
