I'm guessing that's the one I saw this morning parked out in front of the Marriott Hotel in the Galleria area then. Lots of people in town this week for the Offshore Technology Conference. I'll have to remember to bring my camera with me tomorrow morning in case it's still there.

Traveling to Washington, D.C. and wasn't going to get a car. Heard about Avis and checked, found the same as everyone else. I will rent one there next week if they show, if not, I'll stick to the transit system.

Checked all the ones in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Nada. At least not yet. I'm actually going to stop by one I've done business with before and inquire about the Camaros tomorrow. If I get any information that hasn't allready been posted, I'll be sure to let everyone know.

We had one running around town. The person got it form the DWF airport and I do not know how much it costs.

Make sure you follow all the rules for engine break in period on the rentals.

Shouldn't be too hard - #1 rule - vary the RPMs. No problem there...idle->redline->idle->redline...repeat!

Avis is worthless. I've literally been getting the run around from them for weeks trying to find out if i can rent an SS for my wedding this saturday. When i finally spoke to the avis office at houston IAH the dumbasses acted like they had no clue and finally transfered me to someone else, informing me that i couldn't reserve a camaro because "we don't get many of those cars anymore" WTF!!!!!!

I tried as well...seems they cannot guarantee you a car or check availability of cars in any location. I find that hard to believe.
