Actually, it's the horsepower to weight ratio that is the relevant statistic, rather than simply the pure horsepower number.

This matchup isn't realistic. The ZL1 should have no issue with a 440 HP car.

The Z06 and ZR1's ring times are pretty close to each other, a couple seconds if I remember correctly, despite the 130+ hp advantage of the ZR1. So power is not a cure all remedy.
