The Fog lights operate as an on/off push button so they can be turned on/off independently from everything else so yes they can be on with all the other lights.

Correct without the Harness you would have to click the switch one notch right to get halos on during the day but the DRLs will still be on and when you stop you would have to switch it back off again. Some people like the DRLs on along with the halos and there is a harness for that too. I just prefer halos only.

Another key thing is when you use the switch to turn on halos in the day the parking lights and tail lights come on too. With the harness these lights stay off so you're not running around with parking/tail lights on all the time.

It says above that if you have HIDs the fog lamps are replaced by DRLs, but that doesn't apply to the ZL1, does it?

Thanks for posting. The fogs in that picture seem to be a similar hue (white) as the HID's. Am I seeing that correctly? So when I swap my DRL's to my Plasma LED's, all the lights should be close in color?

I don't know what the switch is like on the ZL1, but for my Sky I can turn on high beams and fogs. On the Sky the fogs are on a separate switch from the headlights.

I posted a pic of the switch from the manual... It's exactly the same as an SS/RS with the ZL1 exception being the center part is a big on/off button for the fogs..
