It's inversely related to the amount of time elapsed since I last washed it.

I also had this problem. This and my insecurity with parking and getting scratched so....

I solved both problems with my die grinder. I ground off all the paint. Now I don't have to worry about scratches and the birds aren't attracted to the shiny finish of a painted car.

Down side, I have to keep in in the garage now because any contact with moisture and it's rusts immediately. So now not only do my rotors rust, the whole car does...

Sent while on baby duty.... please sleep

Had a 50 lb pigeon doped up on ex lax drop an a bomb on the hood, windshield and roof going to work one morning. That counted for at least a hundred shots in one!

With all the technology available these days, you'd think On-Star would have some sort of early warning system, maybe include the voice/map/or even camera features to help with this unchallenged problem.
There should also be some sort of sonar/hi-frequency deterrent that could emit from the antenna to shoo birds away.
If GM is so blind to this problem we are having with these cars, perhaps we should start to lobby for the return of widespread use of DDT, and end this bird problem once and for all.

(Just kidding!!!....lol)...

That looks like a scene from one of those horror films.

I have not had any bombs yet but damn I can imagine what that must have been like.

I was thinking of going this route but I like just staring out my window at her and watching everyone walk and drive by give a head roll

I avoid eating at our local vista point because a flock of sea gulls raids the parking lot looking for everyone's fast food left overs. That is the sh**s.
