In that case, sounds like it was a wise decision!

I commute 80+ miles a day too. Rather than racking up miles (as well as drinking gas) I leased a Honda Civic. Gets 46 mpg on the highway I take and is actually a nice little car. My Camaro still isn't a "garage queen" though. As soon as I get home and all weekend, I'm driving that and the Honda sits at home.

My car is no better. Had her for a lil over 10 months and she has 12.3k miles. Lil more then I would prefer... but with the car payment what it is, I almost refuse to buy a DD. I guess nothing compares to your 23k tho :O

Not a bad pull actually.

I had a '95 Blazer LS back in the day when I have my '94 camaro. Bought it was 60k miles on it, ran it up to 120k over the years. Gave it to my Dad, who slapped a damn snowplow on the thing and has it up to 155k miles today. Thing is beat to hell, but runs like a champ, surprisingly. AND it is a two door.

You should be in good shape.

I don't have a daily driver as of now, that's what the GF is for in the winter. Car poolin.

I thought about this too. I do about 70 miles a day during the work week. I'm just going to ride the car until I finish this next degree. Wife made a pact that if I stay above 3.8 till graduation, I can buy a corvette as a gift to myself. About a year and a half to go...

I had a 1999 Chevy Blazer and absolutely loved it. Not sure if your's is a 4 wheel drive but if you're expecting good gas mileage...don't. I would've bought a new one last year but they quit making them so I ended up buying a Chevy Colorado when I gave my trusty Blazer to my son. He needed a newer vehicle and I felt very comfortable knowing he would be safe in the Blazer. You will love yours as a daily driver.

It's not 4WD I just picked it up. Of course it drives like a 12 year old vehicle; steering is a bit loose, but good brakes, overall I'm happy with it.

But I already miss my Camaro :( Feels like I'm cheating on her! LOL!

I swear I don't know how you going to do it. The one day I have to drive my wifes Pathfinder to work I was so damn sad. The next day could not come fast enough.

I know I totally feel like an adultress. Bella is under her car cover, snoozing in our auto shop.

I'm getting her out Wednesday for my Junior League meeting, then I'll pick her up again on Friday. Poor baby. The blazer just seems so... dull!

I drive a 99 s10. Other than replacing the clutch 3 times, it's been a good truck since buying it in 2003.

It's a good idea to have a backup car. I love my winter 4x4 beater but now is the beaters turn to rest. I keep my Camaro parked from November to April. I just busted it out of the shop last week. It's sooooo nice to be back in the Camaro!
I also get much better mileage in the Camaro than the 4x4, and look oh-so-much cooler going down the road.
