Alright guys, I got my pics online. I don't like uploading high res ones much, but here are two really outstanding and important ones!
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m.../IMG_5629s.jpg
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_7403.jpg

Here are a sample of the photos, conveniently hosted by facebook:

Wow... Inferno Orange RS 2SS with every option I can possibly think of!

The acrylic plastic inserts are gorgeous and feel great in these cars. As you may or may not know, I was very disappointed with the look and feel of the grained plastic inserts on the LS at the Dallas Auto Show (as well as the identical ones in the 1SS and 1LT at Texas Motor Speedway). Well, this material is world's apart from that material and is excellent! The leather interiors are wonderful too! Very high quality durable leather. Sitting in one of these cars just returned my enthusiasm that diminished when I sat in the LS at the auto show. Don't get cloth! Get leather with this interior upgrade!

Another very attractive item:

Milli, Scott Settlemire, and Robert:

Met/saw a lot of great people, new and old, but since I post on so many different sites, make sure and let me know who you are if I just met you! It's confusing posting on so many different forums!

The price was $45,000 with a reserve at $35,xxx. A man in (I think) in an orange shirt won the auction.

We didn't even get a chance to bid, it skyrocketed fast!

I had to leave before the auction and overall it was a terrific event put on by Classic Chevy with the No. Texas Camaro Club. I did notice the hood & hockey stripes on the sold 2010 orange car with the ground affects package in the pics was not black nor flat, rather they were very dark charcoal with a hint of metallic and a semi-gloss finish. A Chevy rep inside told me they were factory stickers. They looked better in person than I would have thought as I was expecting flat and black. I am glad to see such a fine turnout. Even Ed Wallace, the 'Wheels' Saturday morning talk show host was there and did a Friday TV Ch4 report on the new Camaro. His entire 5hr show last Saturday was dedicated to Camaro, new and old. I had a ball and saw a silver 2SS like the one I ordered as well.

Well, I was going to upload some pics as well but they are pretty much the same as the ones already posted. LOL

This was the first time for me to see one in person. I was pretty impressed. Interior didn't bother me at all. The seats felt comfortable as well. The ground effects I was not very big on at all. Sweet cars and free food = good time.

Nice pictures! Was there any mention of the fact that the orange 2nd generation was a magazine cover car for Car Craft at least twice? I think its the car that was on the April 1994 cover and the May 1996 cover. It was also featured in Chevy High Performance Magazine but I don't know the date.

I thought so, the blue stripes surrounding the white stripes is what triggered my memory. It looks like its held up well. Beautiful car.
