Funny, just a couple nights ago I go to meet my present girlfriend on our first date, and I get a text saying she is out in the parking lot, and there are two other girls outside taking pics with my car. I just told her not to worry, they aren't the two who are with me...lol j/k.

SOOO true.

Every time I get stuck in traffic driving down to Virginia I have people hold their entire lane up flagging me down to compliment me on my car, or especially to ask about the decals on put on the sides. (They say "Bumble Beast in Transformer speak). I love the kids though... they don't care who's around or where they are, they ALWAYS blurt out "BUMBLEBEE!!!!!!" I love it.

The best was a father and his little girl. They were standing in front of my car and she was asking her dad why he (the car) wouldn't wake up. Priceless.

All this within three weeks of ownership. Me 'n' Ms. Camaro are gonna get along just fine. Mustang who?
Everything you said bro, couldn't have said it better myself. You get all the same compliments as other Camaro owners, plus the kids freaking out. My son loves it.
The decals I put on the sides attract a lot of extra attention as well.

Got mine in 2009 and still have lots of people telling me what a sweet ride it is pretty much every where ever I go.

It's great ya'll get all this attention from the right crowd. Yea I get attention from them...but I manage to get more attention from the police lol. Luckily for me though I am a police officer so I can manage to get out of it.

Saturday morning I was going to my bank to get some MULA for my haircut and car wash and passed by a grocery store and this one chick walking with her boyfriend yells out " nice car". I wonder what she would have done if she was alone...

I've had mine for only a couple of weeks now and I've certainly noticed the attention. I'd thought some of the novelty would have worn off the 5th gen by now. Actually, it's probably not so much novelty any more ... these are just really great cars!

The comments and looks have slowed down for me with time. Or maybe I'm just not looking to see if people are looking?

Theres a ton of camaros on the road here now, so im sure the novelty has died down a little too. For the first few months I owned mine I couldnt go anywhere without a compliment.

Had it happen to me tonight. I went to whataburger to grab some dinner (I know I know food in the camaro I'm going to hell in a handbasket... no worries I never eat in the camaro) And the guy at the register leans his head out the window to get a better view of my car as I pull up. He tells me that its a mean looking beast and his favorite color (Victory Red) then he tells me the first thing he would do if he got one would be to tint it real dark so the police couldn't see him. I laughed and said I already did that and rolled the window up and pulled forward. I was laughing the whole way home!
