Just curious, Why are people blacking out the emblems? I love the look of them. I was seriously thinking about this on the way into work this morning. I saw two different chevys with the bowties blacked out. The carbon fiber does look pretty tough.

Plastidip...5 bucks for a can. Mask them off, spray away. Easy, and better than spending $100+ for new ones. Vinyl is easy too...if you can find it. Otherwise you can order it online.

Cool

Is it possible to put "CAMARO", or "SS" inside the bowtie?

(I'm sure it possible, but how feasable?)

Depends on your skill and desires.

It would look cool IMO.

Read the red, and then think... "Not everyone likes the look of them" and that's your answer.

Gary of Garyscustomz (can't remember his sn) has done a few as well as Lupe, (overhaulengines) You can do it yourself as well with small vinyl pieces cut out and placed on top or stencils and paint. I've seen a few personally, and I have a decepticon symbol in my bowtie from Gary. (painted)

Hobby Lobby 1.50$ for a sheet of black vinyl with sticky back. Just did mine easy as can be. Put it on rub it and run finger nail around edges and cut with a razor. Took my front off and bought the bowtie delete looks awesome too.

Not bad. I'd rather diy than pay for a precut $20 shape with no room for error.

I got my bowtie black out from big worm and I had them put an autobot symbol in the middle of them so check big worm out. The back is pretty easy to apply but the front is more 3d so it is a little more tricky and requires some heat, heat gun or hair dryer, to get it to mold around the bowtie. And big worm gives you two in case you f up and in my case I did and was very glad to have a back up. It takes some getting used to working with vinyl but after you get the hang of it then it isn't too bad.
