Test Drive gone wrong :(

I had the same thing happen to me accept I was told that I could not test drive due to the fact the people that just back from test driving are buying it, doh! Needless to say there was no unveiling lol.

It is useless to TEST DRIVE it. Buy it. You can not ask for more for the money. It is a great car. Got 650 miles on mine and it brakes, handles and runs great. Everyone looks at it going down the road. The only thing I could ask for is more gear and a few hundered more HP to make it scary. Mine is an Automatic SS

i can understand them not leting you drive it, due to volume. but he shouldnt have led you to believe that you were going get to drive it

125 The guy will not get 125 by next year. Most dealers are in the 6-10 cars this year category. SO even if the dealer is huge, maybe 40.....125 total cars other then the Camaro in 1 day is a HUGE dealer. Most dealers sell that in a week or two.

Grand Prize Chevy just opened a store here in NY. I bought four cars from them at this previous GMC Cadillac Buick location...

the new chevy lineup coming is so hot how could they not add in chevy..

Ps...they let me test drive two weeks ago..the Pontiac G8 GT and the Cadillac CTS V but without me even asking about driving the new camaro V6 they told me it was not available for test drives..

I was like..No problem as I imagine the G8 GXP would be so similiar as would the G8 GT it was not a problem..

Sure the camaro SS is slightly different but to get the feel of it from a general perspective...I'm sure test driving the G8 gT or GXP is pretty close?

What I'm saying is if you dig driving the four door G8 with the V8 then the camaro SS I'm sure is even better..

Dam good looking car this new Camaro and at a starting price of 32 grand for the V8.....

How could you go wrong..? Just got to pick the color you like best and interestingly enough.....each one is nicer than the next..

Only thing I can say is black is a real pain in the @ss.. LOL Thats a color I'd have only once..

Too high a maintaince. Its ridiculous after awhile.

Saw a silver SS this week while the vette was being serviced. and dam it was sharp! Everyone kept coming into the service bay to inspect..(from a distance..no less..

Young people...older people...No body could drive it...and it was between the posts of the lifts...and it still had the plastic on it...but dam it was smoking hot!

So far in person I've seen it in RED and Silver and both were awesome.. as I'm sure other colars are as well..

I kind of agree that it's a good thing dealers are not giving test drives on their dealer car but don't agree with the fact that they tell you to come in for a test drive and when you show up they don't live up to what they said. I've been into grand prize and seen that marked up car they're still trying to sell for over msrp. It sounds like no one wants to throw their money away. Hopefully a sign of the times and all these cars will be msrp soon!

Sounds like that dealership, with misleading employees like that, should change their name to "LOSERPRIZE CHEVROLET".
