Yikes! The pressure!
Fine by me. Nothing like a little pressure. Makes it all worth it though.

Some bubbles and creases will come out with the sun. This is one of the reasons I worry about getting a set on our CGM.

Using the ordered set for a template and getting mine painted on in gloss black. Onto the facia and over the spoiler. Now do I wait for the dove tail? IOM 2SS/RS

Gm cant be offering these if they dont have confience in putting them on corretly. I mean these things have been on cars for years. Will there be ones that are messed up and the dealer has to fix, yes. but for the majority im sure they will be fine.

I have been putting stripes on for years and the camaro factory stripe is one of the easiest set I have put on in years. They may look intimidating on the hood but are really easy to put on. Make sure that you get the GM factory stripe and not something else, the reason is the factory stripe comes with a rubber outer cover and that is what makes it easy to install over the paper aftermarket stripe. I have already put on 2 sets on and had them done in less than 30 minutes. They are put on with baby shampoo and water. When you are done they will need to dry so there will be some water that will need to dry. Go and ask if they have done this kind of thing before you allow someone to do this.

I don't think so! If it is the same material they use on the Z71 I have not had a problem on any of mine.

Well, I called the stripe company the GM is using... they are based on Whitby. Good news - and I got this from the guy in charge of putting the stripes on the Camaro's - they are all caught up and are not causing any delays as a result of applying the stripes. For instance, he looked up my VIN - stripes were completed the day after they got the car... arrived with them on 4/22, completed 4/23 and still sitting there.

Bad news - he still has a ton of cars (mine included!) sitting there on his lot.. completed.. and ready to go... just waiting for transportation! Mine has been there, waiting, since 4/23. He went on to mention that he's sent the information multiple times to the shipping/transportation company... each day he thinks the trucks will come... each day, they don't.

What can we do about this?? fbodFather - is it typical for the transportation provider to not pickup ready/waiting vehicles?
