That's totally normal. My Cobalt SS does it too. It's some sensor or something resetting.

ohhh ok. i thought i was goin nuts,,,then some people as i said found out that a thrust washer? was not installed or going bad in some cars....soooooo my immediate thought was that was the problem..now it seems this is what i may be hearing,,thanks ryd..
