Really? Please elaborate. Like I said, I'm expecting these any day and would like to know what issues you are having. Where and when did you get them and with so many problems, have you ever replaced them with a newer set? What year is your car? Sorry for so many questions but you have me all riled up now.

I've had mine installed for several months now. Installed them myself. If you get one of the connectors backwards (reversed) they will be out of sink and not work correctly. Read the install instructions carefully. They state which direction the connector must face. Also do not connect the red wire (I think that is the correct color) to the battery. It is for show mode. If you have lights on all the time, that would be the only source of power when the key is off.
When I installed mine I had one connector backwards and the whole thing would not work correctly.

i installed them roughly 10 months ago
my car is a 2011 v6
the problems i have had so far. the inside gets condensation when ever it rains. living in miami, its a constant thing here.
the fuse for the lights is cheap and had to be pinned up against my spare tire so it doesn't wiggle which if it wiggles, the lights will flicker like crazy.

the up side on these lights if your encounter any problems. the company has some decent customer service. i told them about the condensation, they offered to take in my lights open them up , test them just in case the humidity caused any problems, re seal them with a better sealant and send them back. However they do not offer to pay for shipping when sending them the lights. nor do they offer to send any sort of compensation to have them removed by a professional company.

if these lights have tought me anything, it will be this.
they are the biggest pain in the butt to install and probably just as hard to remove. i also know if any wire is out of place or anything , the lights will freak out an not work properly.
basically, at the end of the day i decided im going a different route with the lights and once i find a shop that will remove them correctly, i will send them back to technostalgia for the fix. once thats all done i will keep them in a box for when i feel like making a change again.
if you are still Ok with all this than you sir are a soldier

like with AAC... you'll see all the threads when people have problems, but none when people are satisfied with them.

If it was a "good" product with no install issues then there should not be any post about it with people having issues. That being said I think they look bad ass however people need to know about the problems

I have had my Technostalgia tail lights for several months, no problems. Recently hooked up the "show mode" for an auto show, really neat. Point about instal...read ALL instructions carefully. Things can get screwed up quickly...the addendum IS important!

So turns out my problem was that lamp. It drained my battery by staying on, would do crazy things, and filled with water in the rain. Called Todd from technostalgia they told me to send it back and they will test it repair or replace it. So I have to pay the body shop to pull it and reinstall. Wish technostalgia would of reimbursed me alittle. Expensive tailights to have all this hassle

Did you ask them why the lights still leak and if so, where the leak comes from? I plan on putting a silicone bead around mine which I hope helps. I don't understand why someone can have an issue and not question why this is happening and if it is a common occurrance. Waiting for a repair or replacement is not a satisfactory solution considering the amount of time and effort involved in the install. When you do take the light out, what are you going to do in the meantime? Leave an empty hole with no brake lights?

I asked why that lamp was possessed he said they have to "test it". He said nobody has had this issue in several months aka he was bsing me. I was not going to argue with them just want it fixed or replaced. I agree waiting for this to be fixed is not satisfactory solution. It is really my only choice. I am getting other work done on the car so I am leaving it at the shop. Technostalgia said it takes 24hours when they get it to diagnosis and fix it. I will let you know what they say about it when they receive it which I am hoping is tomorrow.

The lights have been out for a very long time now and I was under the impression that leaking issues were long gone.
