Window Tint

When you open the door the window comes down about 1/2 inch and when you shut it goes back up.

what are you talking about? why would the window come down just because you open door?

A quality tint shop can tint your windows without disabling the window indexing. They are used to it. Alot of new cars do it now-a-days. Call around until you find one that can do it. Everyone that has gotten their windows tinted so far has been by tint guys that knew how to tint window indexed cars.

Of course the pro tint shop should know how to do this but for the do it yourselfer (not me) this is a viable option.Much better then disconnecting the battery cable. You just have to remember to open the door latch again before you close the door or you could do damage to your door latch and widow. And this is not diabling the indexing just munipulating it.
